Breaking News: Explosion Rocks INEC Office in Suleja



An explosion has been reported at the Independent National Electoral Commission Office in Suleja, Niger state.

About 20 people, many of them Youth Corps members, who had gone to the INEC office to check their names and postings against tomorrow’s polls, were reportedly victims of the blast.

INEC chairman confirms election dates remain unchanged but 15 constituencies will not participate in the Sat, 9th April elections.



The INEC chairman has stated that some senatorial districts will not participate in the saturday 9th of april elections. 15 out of 109 senatorial districts will not participate in the elections. Mostly because materials are yet to be delivered to their districts.
The 15 constituencies that will not participate in the saturday 9th April elections, will carry out their elections on the 26th of april.

Bishop Oyedepo acquires N4.5b Jet. Builds private hanger at MMIA








Bishop David Oyedepo on Saturday March 26th added another jet to his hanger, for a whooping $30m. Thus bringing the number of his private jets to four. The private jet, a Gulfstream V was declared to the over 10, 000 worshipers who thronged Canaanland on Sunday March 27th, by the bishop himself. The bishop said the new jet will be used exclusively for the ministry's African Mission. In his speech on Sunday, the bishop also announced that a state-of-the art private aircraft hanger that can accommodate five jets at a time is being built for his jets near the international wing of Murtala Mohammed International Airport.
Apart from this latest acquisition, the bishop has a Gulfstream 1 which he acquired in 1996. A Gulfstream 4 and a Challenger Aircraft.

Postponement of the elections have been confirmed by INEC Via their Twitter account.
The new dates are as follows:
NASS - 9th April
Presidential: 16th April
Gubernatorial - 26th April

And we thought Maurice Iwu was incompetent
