The President of the Silverbird Group, Mr Ben Murray Bruce has joined the Former Managing Director of the Niger Delta Development Commission [NDDC] and Special Adviser to the President on the Niger Delta, Mr Timi Alaibe in the Bayelsa state 2012 governorship race.
Bruce, President of the Silverbird Television and Rhythm FM was said to have collected his Expression of Interest and Nomination forms over the weekend.
Speaking to supporters after submitting his Expression of Interest and Nomination forms at the People’s Democratic Party [PDP] headquarters in Abuja, Mr Bruce who will also be contesting with the incumbent, Governor Timipre Silva under the Platform of the PDP and Mr Henry Seriake said he believes in politics that is free of violence, and that education will be given top priority if he is voted into office.
The PDP Primary election is billed for November 14, 2011.
