Bomb Explosion Rocks Nigeria Police Head Quaters In Abuja



Nigeria's federal capital, has been rocked by another bomb explosion following a blast at Louis Edet house, the National Police Force Headquarters, this morning. It is the second major blast in the city, less than a year following the devastating twin blasts of October 1st last year which left over 20 dead.

Prince William Divorces Kate Middleton






LONDON—Barely a month after marrying 29-year-old Kate Middleton in a royal wedding ceremony watched by an estimated 2 billion people worldwide, Prince William announced Tuesday that he and Middleton have divorced and that the entire marriage was "a tremendous mistake in every possible regard." "I really don't know what I was thinking—we're a terrible match, I don't love her and never have, and, to be honest, I never really had any interest in being married in the first place," announced the now unattached Prince William to a dead-silent British press corps.

Nigeria may become 3rd most populous nation, says UN chief




Nigeria could be the world’s third most populous nation by 2100, after China and India, with 700 million people, American economist Jeffrey Sachs has said. Sachs famous for such books as The End of Poverty, currently serving as special adviser to United Nations Secretary General Ban Ki Moon, said a three-child policy is needed to contain the population explosion.
